Promising hooker re-signs with Stags
SBS Bank Southland Stags are thrilled to announce the re-signing of promising young Southland born hooker Jack Taylor for the 2023 and 2024 seasons. Having spent time with the Highlanders during the summer, Jack is poised to make a significant impact on the field this year.
Director of Rugby Matt Saunders expressed his excitement about having Jack back on the team, saying, "We are very excited to have Jack onboard. He has shown tremendous growth and development since joining us, and we believe he is ready to play a big part in our 2023 season."
Jack Taylor himself is looking forward to the upcoming seasons and is excited to be back with the Stags. " I’m very excited and grateful to have an opportunity to be a part of the stags, a team I’ve grown up watching my whole life and that I’ve dreamed to play for. Can’t wait to come home later in the year and do what I can to add to the team environment so we can do our fans and province proud." Said Jack Taylor.
As one of New Zealand's most promising young hookers, Jack Taylor's re-signing is a significant boost for the SBS Bank Southland Stags, and the team is confident that he will continue to develop and make an impact on the field.
