VIDEO: World junior track cyclist Emily Paterson

Cycling Southland and Academy Southland athlete Emily Paterson talks about heading away to the Junior World Track championships in Frankfurt, Germany next month.

SIT Southern Hub riders Paterson and Conor Shearing will be making their debut at this level as part of the 12-strong New Zealand team in Germany, with racing from August 14 to 18.

New Zealand has a strong pedigree of success at the junior world championships, winning 70 percent of their 79 medals won since 1976 in the past nine years.
